ECA

Students can not only learn about new subjects, but can also enjoy developing their talents, gain new, useful skills and make new friends from different years and Houses.

During September, students choose which ECA they would like to attend in which cycle. Students in Years 1–4 are required to participate in all three cycles, even if they have other extracurricular activities outside school.

Students receive written feedback on their participation in all ECAs in their final report.

We acknowledge that having a hobby, interest, and developing talents helps students’ well-being, particularly their mental health. This is why ECAs play a very important role in school life.

ECA FAIR

To help students find the best ECAs for them, we are hosting an ECA FAIR where all ECAs are presented by teachers and specialists.

Student – led Activities

It is possible that students from the Upper School will organise an activity for younger students. Although supervised by a teacher, these activities are led by the students themselves. Information about new Student-led Activities can be found in the Student Bulletin. Student-led Activities are not assessed and do not take place during regular ECA time, so they cannot replace teacher or specialist-led ECAs. Nevertheless, they offer a great opportunity to try new things with more experienced students.

See the ECA section in the brochure for more information.
